Paros Island features a small port which is easy to navigate. You will not have any trouble finding the gate as there are only three of them. If you are reaching Paros Port by car or bus from another location, be aware that there might be traffic. Most of the time there are two ships docked in the port and that has as an outcome a traffic jam.
To reach the port of Paros from other locations on the island you can use the local bus line, a taxi or a transfer service. It is useful to know that the local bus line has the final stop right next to port gates. If you choose a taxi or a transfer service, we suggest you make an appointment the day before. If you have a rental car, you can drop it off at the port after communicating with the rental agency.
We suggest you arrival 60 minutes before the departure.
You will not experience any difficulty in finding your ship due to the fact that the port is quite small. You will see it after all as you will first arrive on Paros Island.

Ios Island is situated between Naxos and Santorini. Although Ios as an island is not as popular as Paros or Mykonos, its capital however is quite well-known. In fact, it was called by famous travel magazines as the “ornament of Cyclades”; and they are right. Its capital, built on a hill with characteristic churches on top, is picturesque and beautiful.
To reach other locations of Ios Island, you can use the local bus line, taxi or transfer service. You can also use car rental services. Most of them are located in the port but if you rent from somewhere else, you can ask the rental agency to deliver your car to the port.
As Ios is an island on which most of the infrastructure is built on the west coast, there is only one bus line, starting from the port and to the Mylopotas Beach.
Ios Island features a limited number of taxi due to its small size. Therefore, you can book a taxi before arriving or ask your hotel to book one for you.
Ios is one of those islands which feature few hidden surprises. This destination is known for its nightlife and, more or less, for youth travel. During the past years, Ios Island has begun to transform itself to a more luxury destination. Of course, this change started when the first suites and luxury hotels started appearing on the island.
The first and main attraction of Ios Island is its capital. The ornament of Cyclades is panoramically built around the hill, overlooking the port in the bay. On the top of the hill there is a church and a little bit higher, three chapels. This sight is the trademark of Ios Island. The biggest church on the top of the hill, which features the picturesque palm trees, is named Panagia Gremniotissa. Do not miss a visit there as you are in Ios, along with the walk all the way to the top. The view from there is stunning.
Regarding beaches, Ios Island features one of the most popular and largest in Cyclades. It is called Mylopotas Beach. It consists of a golden sand and crystal sea; it is well organized with sunbeds and water sport activities. Along the beach you will find restaurants, clubs and tourism infrastructure in general.
Another impressive environment can be found on the south coast of Ios and it is called Manganari. These are actually two beaches separated in half and you will be amazed by their beauty. Although it is not easy to reach by car, it is worth it; you can also get there via boat tours which start from Ios port.
As Ios is known for its nightlife, the heart of it beats in the capital. Of course partying usually starts during midday hours on Mylopotas Beach.
